WTF Mbok? (warning: mindless stupid post)
I hate hate hate it when you find one of your dream lolita items and you happen to win it for a great price, only to have the seller then decide she doens't want to sell it anymore! WTF?? Are you even allowed to do that? That's happened to me a couple of times and I'm sick of it!
Anyways, so obviously I couldn't wait and decided to start lurking yahoo Japan and mbok. I've gotten some pretty good deals so far. I really hope I win this though, http://www.mbok.jp/item/item_143600202.html. It's one of Meta's non-lolita designs, and I think it'd be adorable for a retro house-wife look. I did win my first AATP piece, in which I'm super excited about! I think it might be too short though;_;
So yeah, if anyone sees anything on mbok or yahoo Japan let me know and maybe we can combine orders and save on Celga's shipping.

Been a while..
Well not a lot has happened. I've been on winter break for a while and it's been absolutely miserable;_; Fuck you Iowa for being so boring! On the brighter side, I'll be in Cedar Rapids starting tomarrow to Monday house-sitting/baby-sitting. It'll be kind of nice to get away from all the family drama and I'll get to be with my favorite girl:D It'll kind of suck though when she's at school, but I'll manage to find something to do. Oh yeah, this is OT but they're putting my doggy to sleep! :( I guess it's for the best because he's almost 16, suffered countless strokes, is lame on his entire right side, and is obviously in a lot of pain. I hate it when animals suffer T_T I've been quite active on the egl communities, which is rare for me. Here's a couple daily lolita pictures I've put up. Ahhhggg! All this excitement about the meta luckypacks is making me crazy! People have gotten some really cute stuff so far. I just pray that I don't end up with a black and white luckypack. I already have too much of the color combo and I'm just not a big fan of it overall. But with my chronic bad luck (yes I really do have bad luck ALL THE FREAKING TIME) I guess that's what I should expect:( It's soo hot here. My brothers, Adam, and I are gonna go swimming in a little bit, and that sounds just heavenly right now. Umm, there's really nothing else worth mentioning, because I have such a boring life. Just watched Requiem of a Dream with my ex and my brothers. I am now officially depressed. But on a happier note, I have my first lolita "meet-up" this Saturday, so now I have something to look forward to. The only problem is that my car died while I was away at school, and I'm not insured to drive the Trailblazer or the work truck. My parents are planning to get a new car, and there's a possibility that they may get one this week. But I guess I just won't know until it happens. Afterwards, I'm heading over to Cedar Rapids to visit Lexi and her Grandma so there's something else to look forward to. But after that, its just work and more work. This summer is going to be so long, because all my friends from school are in Illinois and the only person I know where I live is my ex boyfriend, who currently has a girlfriend at his school in Pella. And then there are some family issues I am going to have to deal with all summer, which is going to make it seem even longer. Hey, can you believe it?! I'm actually posting an entry in here. Well, I'm actually procrastinating from studying for my calculus final tomarrow, but anyways... I decided that I'm going to start posting in here more regularly once I'm back home for the summer. I know I'm going to be very bored working in the office, and I'm going to have a computer screen sitting in front of me 6 hours a day for 4-5 days a week, so I'm going to need something to do.
I just realized that my last post was meant to go into a community here on LJ-I have no idea how it got here! I still feel like I'm such a noob to LJ, even though I've been here for half a year. I really only go on egl, but I might as well make more use out of it.
Ok, time for a rant. So at the beginning of this semester, I was not doing very well with my classes. There were some major problems going on at home, (they are only worse now:), and it was really hard for me to concentrate in class. I failed my first two chemestry tests, and I realized that I became a huge slacker. So I got my act together and studied my ass off for the next two chem tests, in which I got high C's in. Then when the final came along, I spent days in the library and locked up in my room with my nose in my chem book, and I got a high B on the final, which might actually turn out to be an A, depending on how big the curve will be. So naturally, I was thrilled. But then I got an email from my professor basically telling me that she found it suspicious that I improved so much since the beginning of the semester! What the hell?! Just because I failed the first few tests, does that mean I'm destined to get similar grades on the rest of the tests?
